The final National Senior Certificate exams for the class of 2023 officially started on Monday, 30 October and Overstrand Municipality would like to wish all our Grade 12 learners who are writing their matric examinations, every success.

Well wishes are also extended to the independent school learners who already started their exams in September.

Overstrand Executive Mayor, Dr Annelie Rabie said the learners of Overstrand have done us proud in matric examinations over the years and she has no doubt that we can expect yet another success story this time around.

She also thanked dedicated parents and teachers for the role they have played to ensure that these young people are equipped to sit for their finals.

“You are in our thoughts and prayers every step of the way. Do not drop the ball now after having worked so hard throughout the year. Give it your best, and make all of us proud,” the Mayor added.
